Rebirth of Mothra (1996)
- When a forest worker finds a strange metal coin and takes it home, it draws the attention of the tiny twins Lora and Mol, and a dark fairy named Belvera. Belvera travels to the worker's home to steal the coin. The twins attempt to stop her, but fail, and Belvera uses the coin to summon Death Ghidora, an enormous monster that begins destroying the forest. The twins call to Mothra, who comes to their aid, but is mortally wounded protecting its caterpillar offspring from the monster. When Mothra dies, the caterpillar travels to Infant Island, where it makes a cocoon, and emerges as a new Mothra. It is able to defeat Death Ghidora, and restore the surrounding forest. The twins reveal that Belvera is, in fact, their wayward sister.
Rebirth of Mothra II (1997)
- When strange, poisonous starfish begin appearing near Ishigaki island, the Alias twins deduce that Dagahra, a monster who thrives on pollution, has returned. The twins enlist the aid of three children to search for an ancient city, which has a weapon to defeat Dagahra. Belvera also wants the weapon, and recruits two henchmen to follow them. When a giant pyramid rises from the sea, Dagahra senses the threat, and attacks. The twins summon Mothra, who fights Dagahra while they search for the weapon. They discover that the weapon is Go-Go, a small creature discovered by the children on their quest. His power rejuvenates the gravely injured Mothra, who takes on a sleek new aquatic form, and is able to defeat Dagahra.
Mothra 3: King Ghidora Attacks (1998)
- King Ghidorah crashes to Earth in a meteorite, and begins destroying cities and abducting children. Mol and Lora summon Mothra, who is beaten by King Ghidorah in battle. Mothra travels to the prehistoric past, in order to fight the younger and less powerful Ghidorah. Mothra destroys the young Ghidorah in a volcano, but leaves a damaged piece of his tail behind. In the present, King Ghidorah disappears, but Mothra is also gone, unable to return from the past. King Ghidorah returns, restored from the tail fragment, and resumes his destruction. Mothra's body, preserved by prehistoric Mothra larvae, is unearthed, revealing a powerful armored form. With the help of the twins and Belvera, Mothra fights and ultimately destroys King Ghidorah.
